About the event
The After-School Science Club is an exciting and educational program designed for curious minds eager to explore the wonders of science outside of regular school hours. This club offers a variety of hands-on experiments and activities that make learning science both fun and engaging. Here’s what you can expect:
What to Expect:- Interactive Experiments: The After-School Science Club is all about discovery through experimentation. Each session introduces students to a new scientific concept through hands-on activities. Upcoming projects include:
- Slime Science: Students will delve into the world of polymers by creating their own slime. They’ll explore the properties of non-Newtonian fluids and learn about the chemical reactions that give slime its unique texture.
- Sharpie Magic: Through this experiment, students will explore solubility and chromatography by creating art with Sharpie markers and solvents, watching how colors spread and separate in fascinating ways.
- Exploding Paint: Combining art and science, students will use simple chemical reactions to create explosive paint splatters on canvas, learning about the interactions between acids, bases, and other reactive materials.
